MP3 file export is not bundled with this product, however
it does support MP3 export if a utility is installed. We
recommend that music be exported as WAV or OGG
files, which are supported by most player & CD burning
software; then there is no need to install this utility.
If you do choose to export your music in MP3 format,
it is up to you to make sure you are in compliance with any licensing
restrictions imposed by MP3 encoders*. Please refer to

Before installing any MP3 exporting software, you must first read
and understand the disclaimer at the bottom of this page*.
First you should have installed the Vocal Remover software and you
should have a Vocal Remover icon on your desktop. If you have not
installed the software, please first read this section:
Installing the Software
If you are in compliance with the license, in order to
enable MP3 export, first download LAME, the free
MP3 Export Audio Encoder software from one of these sites*:

Run the downloaded software so that the files are extracted & saved.
(You must double-click on an EXE or ZIP file to extract the contents)
Take note of where you install the MP3 Export files on your hard drive.
Windows files are commonly installed at C:\Program Files\Lame
The Windows file is called: lame_enc.dll
The MAC OS X file is called: Lamelib or libmp3lame.dylib
To install the MP3 exporting features*,
Double-click on the Vocal Remover icon to start the software.
"Choose "Edit", then "Preferences"
Choose the "File Formats" tab, then click on the "Find Library" button
in the "MP3 Export Setup" section. Then nagivate to the location of the
lame_enc.dll or libmp3lame.dylib file that you downloaded. (Remember
you may need to double-click on the file you downloaded to extract the
lame_enc.dll or libmp3lame.dylib file)
To improve the audio quality of the exported MP3 files, choose 160
from the "Bit Rate" menu. Then click on "OK".
The "Export As MP3" function in the "File" menu will now be available.
Now you have the ability to export any of your music as an MP3 file.
The "Export As MP3" menu will be active and work as expected.
