Preparing music from CDs or music services

The vocal remover software requires music to be in MP3 format.
If your music is not already an MP3 file, it must be prepared.

If your music is on a music CD, click here.

If your music is a file on your computer, first
double-check to make sure you really have an MP3 file.
Windows:
Right-click on the music file, choose properties, and make
sure the "Type of file" is mp3.
MAC:
Hold the Control Key while you click, choose properties, and
make sure the filetype is mp3.

If your music is not MP3 or came from iTunes, Windows Media,
Napster, Rhapsody, Walmart, or is a WMV file, click here.
